How the number is built

Plain English, no funny business

Annual revenue is jobs per week × average job value × 50 working weeks. The “leaked margin” figure assumes a portion of jobs are quoted without seeing your loaded labour cost, equipment depreciation, or true overhead — and that those jobs come in below the margin you thought you set.

We're not saying every operator is bleeding. We're saying you can't answer the question without modelling the numbers. The point of the calculator is to give you a sense of the scale.
